11th National Convention - “Living in Freedom, Celebrating Sobriety”

It is with great joy that we begin to share some information about our 11th National Convention, which will be held on 14 and 15 November at the Steyler Fátima Hotel, with fellowship activities beginning on Friday 13 November. The theme will be:
“Living in Freedom, Celebrating Sobriety”
The National Convention is always a special occasion for members, families and friends to come together in sharing and fellowship. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that unite us, to celebrate the recovery we have found in AA, and to renew the hope we have discovered in this new way of life.
This year, in addition to the programme planned for Saturday and Sunday, there will also be moments of fellowship and sharing on Friday, giving those who arrive earlier the opportunity to enjoy more time together in friendship and fellowship.
Over these days, we will have the opportunity to attend meetings, hear members share their experience, strength and hope, meet old friends, welcome new members, and celebrate together the freedom that sobriety has brought us.
We are also preparing some new elements that we hope will make this Convention even more participatory, with different moments for sharing, fellowship and celebration.
We hope this Convention will be another opportunity to strengthen our Unity and a true celebration of the life we are able to enjoy today.
We count on you, once again, to help make our Convention a wonderful AA celebration.
We look forward to seeing you there.
